QTH and SHACK

This
is my humble QTH in Algonquin, Illinois - 45 miles NW of Chicago
These
are pictures of my tower which was put up on the weekends of September
7th and 14th, 2002. It is 50 feet of Rohn 25 with a 3 foot top
section. This is my new antenna setup that was installed the weekends
of September 20th and 27th, 2003. The arrangement consists of
a Bencher Skyhawk for HF, a modified KLM 2M-22C (horizontal elements
only) for 2m, a Cushcraft 719B for 70cm and a Cushcraft A503S
for 6m and at the very top, a Comet GP-9 for 2m and 440 FM use.
Also, side mounted on the tower are a pair of stacked PAR Omni-Angles
for 6 meters. I still have to straighten up some of the coax and
run some new feeds in these pictures!
